Key Lime Rum Cream Buttercream

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 1/2-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Blue Chair Bay Rum Key Lime Rum Cream
  • 1 pinch of key lime zest
  • 1 each key lime thinly sliced for serving

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl mix all ingredients with an electric mixer until well combined and buttercream is light and fluffy.
  2. Add additional powdered sugar as necessary until buttercream is desired consistency.
  3. Top cupcakes with Key Lime Rum Cream buttercream and garnish with a slice of key lime.
